SSDI The Reconsideration

You say that you are disabled because of the loss of both arms and legs, you hearing, sight, and ability to speak.

We agree that these disabilities are severe and will prevent you from doing you previous job as a mortician.

Considering your age, education and previous work, your disabilities are not totally disabling as you have the residual capacity to do the less strenuous job of a casket demonstrator.

Should your condition become worse please do not hesitate to apply again.

The Reconsideration level usually rubber stamps the Initial denial. The Administrative Law Hearing is different. About 65% of the claimants win at the ALJ level. Your chances of winning double with competent representation.
